Live While You’re Young || It’s Now. Or Never.

You’re going to be 15 for only 365 days. And you could die at 16. Who guarantees you can’t die tomorrow anyway?

When your mum asks if you want to sleep in her bed, say yes. One day you’ll be in a hospital bed, and there won’t be enough room to make up for right now.

Stop being annoyed at everyone and everything. Just live through it. One day, you’ll be alone with no one to nag you. It’ll be quiet as death, and that silence will be deafening. You will never be able to travel back in time.

Stop cancelling plans. Go out and use your legs while they work. You’re guaranteed nothing.

Stop denying affection. You’ll never be able to love someone as a teenager at 45. Someone, many someones, are going to tell you they love you. Don’t keep quiet because you’ve been told it’s too soon. If you love them, say so. Be brutally, beautifully honest. What’s the worst that can happen?

Go out and change the world. Fight for equality, peace and change. This is YOUR world. If you don’t make a change, then who will?

When you’re 70 and can only watch the news all day, you don’t want to see the same issues still going on; knowing you had every chance to fight it. But never did

Stop romanticising the “I don’t need anybody” and “I don’t have feelings” attitude. It’s easier to make friends in high school than in nursing homes.

Don’t apologize for caring and don’t let anybody make you feel guilty for caring, even if it’s going to be one-sided. It doesn’t matter. Do it because this is your life and you get to choose what you leave behind.

Embrace feelings. You are what you feel and think.

Go ahead and do it.

Tell people how you feel. The worst thing they can do is prove that they weren’t meant to be in your life. You’ll be better off in the end.

Never worry about what anyone might think. If it’s something you love, their opinions shouldn’t matter. Don’t let anyone stop you from doing what you want.

Don’t over think. Bad decisions make good memories.

There’s no designated time for anything in your life. You don’t need to have your first kiss at any certain time. You don’t have to get married in your 20s and you don’t have to do anything because other people think its best.

For goodness’ don’t sake plan out your life already. There is just sooo muchh to do, you crazy human being. SO BLOODY MUCH.

You’re only a teenager for 2190 days and then you’re 20. And then you won’t be a teenager, even if you suddenly decide to trade worlds for it.

Life never slows down.

Go for a drive at midnight and forget you have school the next day. Stop waiting for Friday. Do it now. Take risks. Tell secrets. Dream big and fight for what you believe in.

Just be happy. Do whatever will make you happy.

Take a deep breath and do it.

Bones become fragile and break, skin gets wrinkled, hearts become weak, time goes on and people die. Even you.

With every inch of your body, Live Right NOW. This life is yours. When are you going to realise that you can do whatever the hell you want?

Too glam to give a damn 💫

  1. I agree with this post. Unfortunately even after becoming 28-30 year-old we can realise that so many opportunity have become closed in our lives even though so many others have opened up. The full potential or our younth must be used when it is still possible. Carrier decision, mortgage, friends with babies or abroad put an end to it.

  2. I think that this is such an important post! I absolutely love what you wrote, and it really reminded me of a ton of things to keep in mind if I am ever feeling down.

Thanks so much for sharing, and lots of hugs!

  5. I love this post and I really need it at the moment. I love how you’ve written it as I find it so much easier to read things like this on a blog rather than spend hours reading a whole massive block of writing in which some of it is utterly pointless, thank you and I hope you have a great day.
