Hello everybody!

Last summer I went with my family to Russia for a dance recital. It was honestly an immensely EXCITING period that I shall cherish forever.

I loveeedd it🥳

The whole city was absolutely pleasant and I’m positive the Russians are some of the friendliest people on earth.❤🥰

(Did I tell you that I’ve made Russian friends now🤩😎 *feels very proud*)

I really didn’t expect the whole city to be SO breathtakingly gorgeous. It truly took me by surprise, and I’m super lucky to have it as one of THE. BEST ever trips that I’ve been on. 🥳🥳

I wasn’t blogging at that point at that point and neither did I mean to post any of the pictures. So all of them were just done on my phone which isn’t an iPhone X . Which is why the above one is a liitttlee tilted😂. But the beauty hasn’t come down at all so that’s a great thing!!🤗🥰

The iconic St. Basil’s Cathedral

This is probably Moscow’s most famous buildings– it’s signature, if I must say. Though I’ve seen it in picture many times I couldn’t help gaping at this magnificent thing, whilst standing in front of it.

It was one of the Old 7 Wonders of the World, which I suppose, speaks for the rest!

Moscow, being the administrative capital of Russia (THE largest country in the world) has a humongous number of embassies and admin buildings. It was impressive to look at them all, because apart from the architecture being remarkable itself, everything was. so. BIG😂 I mean, excuse me, I could hardly fit any of them into my phone screen😂🙄 SO. HUGE

That’s Kazakhstan’s. Who knew it’d be SO pretty💕

Are luxury-malls even supposed to be boutique style pretty? 😲 I’ve only seen them look glossy with super high ceilings, digital screens, billboards etc. See those arches on the right? Those are the stores. I wish I could spend my dying day here.

I definitely did! It was SO fun for me to revisit everything and let my mind wander, especially since all it’s been seeing recently are the four walls of my bedroom. How fun.

Guess what? There’s more to come! *does jazz hands*

  4. Nope… never been to Russia. I’ve never been beyond the US and two quick trips to different parts of Canada, although I’ve seen a lot more of the US than most people who live here.

    (If I’m writing this in character from 1995, then I’ve pretty much only seen parts of the western US and Vancouver. Most of my traveling happened in my 20s. I first traveled east of the Rocky Mountains in late 1996; I’ll write about that eventually.)

  5. I have always wanted to visit Russia. I’m definitely in love with the Russian accent. Looking at the pictures you’ve posted has increased my want to visit the place. Such beautiful photos !

  6. I have not been to Russia, actually I’ve never been out of the USA! Sadly! Russia looks beautiful-love all the architecture. The little shops and cafes look so inviting! Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience 💕

  8. I’ve wanted to visit Russia for YEARS! A friend and I were meant to visit last November but decided against going as the visa process was quite lengthy for how short a time we’d have gone for. Glad you had a brilliant time, looking forward to more posts on your trip soon!

  12. Ahhhh🥰🥰🥰. Its fantastic and i am in love with these pics, couldnt choose any one from these as my favourite(i choose every single picture). It was a great feeling just seeing these pics. “I wish i could spend my dying day here” clearly tells the love for the place you have 😊😊.

      Yess! I’m surprised to see most people agreeing on this because most films feature them on the darker side. Ugh. It’s a shame.

      1. Yeah, She knew a good level of English so that there was no problem in communication. By the end, she had learnt a little bit of Hindi also, lol. They are portrayed on the darker side maybe because of the way their country works and the leadership.

    1. Gosh you’ve been to St. Petersberg yayy!! It was honestly SO beautiful, wasn’t it?! Although I guess it resembled a typical European city, whereas the buildings in Moscow were different to look at. All the same, I loved them both! Ahh you should definitely visit Moscow, maybe when all of this is over. X

      1. Yess it was so beautiful!- I really want to go back to Russia, I went to St. Petersburg around four years ago so defo need to visit again! Moscow has always been on my bucket list, so hopefully when this is over I can travel there.
